Kevin is acquainted with the ways of the world. For nineteen years, he was the lead singer and keyboard player for Telluride, a secular band of immense popularity in the South. Kevin has opened for and performed with acts such as the Blues Traveler, Jimmy Buffet, The Guess Who, ZZ Top, Charlie Daniels, Rosanne Cash, Marshal Tucker Band, Cheap Trick, members of the Allman Brothers, members of the Rollin Stones and many more.

More recently, he has been in concert with Third Day, Toby Mac,  Casting Crowns, The Newsboys, Newsong, Phillips Craig & Dean, Jeremy Camp, FFH, Jennifer Knapp, Barlow Girl, Big Daddy Weave, Charles Billingsley, Tate, Point of Grace, Audio Adrenaline, Avalon, Margret Becker, 4 Him and Steven Curtis Chapman. He has done crusades, camps and conferences with Franklin Graham, Tony Evans, Scott Dawson,  Dave Edwards, Josh McDowell, Jay Strack, Dawson McAllister, Wade Morris, David Nasser and many others. The summer of 2005 Kevin is excited to be a part of Billy Grahams crusade in New York City.  In 2008 the Kevin Derryberry Band led the Worship Service at the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions Convention. All glory to God!
Kevin has released 6 Contemporary Christian Rock Gospel CDs in as many years.

LifeWay Church Resources , a division of LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention, has used Kevin’s Story "The Long Road Back" as an article for the Young Adult and Collegiate Learner Guides 2000-01 winter Quarterly and again in the 2001-02 Young Adult and Collegiate & 2003 Youth CD Rom for Bible study leaders and more recently in the 2004 adult bible study.  This was released to over 120,00 church Bible study classes world wide 4 years in a row.
Kevin has performed in crowds of 5 to 100,000 but his favorite is the audience of One, JESUS
